YOU AND I


Reflecting on the moments passed as you take me through the seasons- 
Some threaten (me) to lose my balance- sort of like running through rain in slippery rubber boots
Or even snow, where the fall does no justice to a swollen rear-
I've come to realize that I'm clinging to you
Like a babe nursing at his mother breast
Thirsting not just for the tangible nourishment 
But thriving even more so for the unfathomable, 
The indescribable 
Which speaks inseparability of a womb and fruit so intricately woven together
Lest I fall, I pray that the umbilical cord is never broken 
And that I definitely acknowledge Your supremacy
And: 
In preparation for ministry before many who desire reassurance- living in this testimony, my testimony
You surely NEVER slumber in outpouring proof that 
YOU HOLD MY WORLD IN YOUR HANDS
